How to cast to samsung TV? Connecting Chromecast to Samsung TV

If you can follow instructions you can set up the Chromecast without calling the technicians to help install the device to your Samsung tv.

The first step is to download the Google Home application on your phone or tablet. It is a free and important application available on Android and iOS devices. Without this application, your Chromecast device won’t work on your Samsung TV.

The second step is to find a free HDMI input port on your television and insert the Chromecast into it. Use the included power supply cord and plug the Chromecast into an available power supply socket.

By this time the Google Home application download process should be completed. Now it is time for you to open up the application and allow it to connect to your Chromecast.

The Google Home App will automatically start searching for your Chromecast.

Hopefully, your smart TV and your phone are on the same network. If not the app will request that you connect to the wifi network.

Step three is to follow the on-screen prompts to configure the device. Soon a code will pop up on your Samsung TV and a series of codes on your mobile device for you to select the one that matches the displayed one on the TV.

As long as you match the codes properly the devices will be paired and it is time for you to mirror or cast the movies on your phone to the display screen on your Samsung TV.

It is possible to cast from your computer if those devices are capable of doing it since it is part of the same network.
